The DES-25Z family was designed for running on the first quasi-high-speed train in Guangzhou-Shenzhen line in 1993. It is able to running up to 160 km/h and used for middle and short distance transportation.

There are many import components are used in cars including electronic anti-skid device, bearings, leveling valves, differential pressure valves, variable load valves, dampers, vacuum toilets, diesel engines and air conditioning units.
